Erasmus+ Sicily
From April 6 to 12 a group of female students from our school was in Sicily as part of the Erasmus+ project. Together with partners from Portugal, Luxembourg, and Italy, the project participants:
Expanded their language skills
Broke language barriers
Sought to understand and appreciate cultural and linguistic diversity
Established friendships and connections
Strengthened their motivation to learn English.
The benefits of participating in the Erasmus+ program include increased self-confidence, learning to work in groups and opening up to other people and the world.
The theme of this edition of the project is ecological education. It is key to our future. What does it look like in practice? Imagine a world where each of us cares for the planet as we care for our own home. Sounds good, right? That is precisely the goal of ecological education. To teach us how to live in harmony with nature. It was a wonderful week. A week of meetings, conversations, lessons, and exploring Sicily. On our path round Sicily there were: Catagna, Milazzo, Spadafora, Messina, Taormina.
Breathtaking views from Sicily will stay with us forever.
